HYDRA DPF-24 DPF Cleaner Diesel Fuel Additive Description
What’s in it for you:
We’ve formulated this product to help your vehicle’s DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) run smoothly. It clears away any soot that has built up and helps it burn off, leaving you with a clean and clear DPF. Don’t worry about spending a lot of money on repair bills from a clogged particle filter. You won’t have to remove the DPF! Just add DPF-24 to your fuel system and drive like normal. Keeping your DPF in good shape with regular cleaning is a simple way to boost your engine’s performance and make sure your fuel is being used efficiently. This not only saves you money on fuel, but also ensures your car runs smoothly. This is perfect for your everyday driving needs! Whether you’re cruising through the city or taking a short trip, it’ll keep you cool with its temperature reduction of 150°C. And let’s not forget the DPF regeneration — it’s like a cooling system for your car! Keeping your DPF in tip-top shape is key to reducing those pesky emissions from incomplete combustion. USAGE: DPF FILTER CLEANING
Go ahead and add this to your fuel tank. Just make sure it’s at least 10 liters. If you add 250 milliliters, you can treat up to 60 liters of diesel fuel. Go on and drive for 20 minutes, and if you see a lot of soot, you might need to drive at high revs in a low gear. You’ll want to treat every 2,000 to 6,000 miles, depending on how often you notice soot blockage. Diesel Particulate Filter Cleaner
A DPF, or Diesel Particulate Filter, is an important part of the exhaust emission control system. It’s like a little cleanup crew, capturing particulate matter and hydrocarbons so they don’t end up in the air we breathe. It stores them away, and every so often, it gets a clean sweep, burning off the deposits and particulates to turn them into ash and CO2. That CO2 just vents out the exhaust, so you can feel good knowing that your car is doing its part for the environment. I totally get it—your DPF can get clogged for a bunch of different reasons. It’s always a good idea to check the quality of the fuel and engine oil. Of course, your driving style and the type of journey you’re on can also have an impact. Diesel engines are especially sensitive to short trips or driving in stop-and-go traffic. These conditions can lead to an increase in particulate matter in the emission control components, which can be tough on these engines. Don’t worry, it’s just a sign that your DPF and catalytic converter need a little love. We understand that many low-cetane fuels can lead to some concerns, like increased engine deposits, more smoke, and greater exhaust emissions. These can result in some wear and tear on your engine. Diesel engines can sometimes release black soot or, more specifically, diesel particulate matter when they’re running. The black smoke is made up of carbon compounds that just haven’t burned because the fuel hasn’t been fully burned. HYDRA DPF CLEANER SOLUTION
We know how important it is to keep your DPF free of soot. That’s why we’ve created a solution that’s just what the doctor ordered. With our product, soot build-up in a DPF is a thing of the past. Your vehicle is actually designed to do this automatically in a process called “regeneration.” This normally happens during regular driving at high exhaust temperatures, usually on fast roads like highways or divided highways. Don’t worry, this is totally normal. When this happens, the soot gets burned off, leaving just a tiny bit of ash in the DPF. These ash deposits are left behind, and they gradually build up in the diesel particle filter over time. Eventually, though, your trusty car will need to be taken to a garage to remove the DPF and clean it using special equipment. But don’t worry! If your regeneration system is working, it should last for over 100,000 miles. But, depending on a bunch of different things, some vehicles might not have the right conditions for passive regeneration. In these cases, vehicle sensors are like little helpers, keeping an eye on the filter to make sure it’s running smoothly. If they notice it’s getting a bit blocked, they kick into action, starting a special cleaning process called “regeneration.” During this cycle, they lovingly inject extra fuel into the engine to warm up the exhaust and get things running smoothly again. During most vehicles’ engine cycles, active regeneration occurs approximately every 300 miles and takes 5 to 10 minutes. This depends on your particular driving style during this period. Here are some common factors that occur during active regeneration. The engine sounds louder and has a faster idle speed. Your fuel consumption may increase. The exhaust is much hotter with an acrid smell. Your engine cooling fans are running. In a modern car, the automatic stop/start function doesn’t work if you get a DPF warning light. Please, please don’t ignore it! This warning light indicates that your DPF is blocked. You can usually clear this light by activating an active regeneration cycle by driving at over 40 mph for 10–15 minutes. If you don’t take care of this, your car will go into limp mode to protect your engine. Hey, just a friendly reminder: when your car is in limp mode, it’s super important to act fast. Hey, just a friendly reminder that driving at speed might not be enough. It’s always a good idea to add a DPF cleaner right away. If you’re having trouble, don’t worry! Your friendly neighborhood garage will be able to help. They might do a forced regeneration or, if that doesn’t work, the DPF. DPF CLEANER COST
In some cases, your friendly neighborhood garage might need to remove the filter and give it a good cleaning. This can be a bit pricey, especially compared to the cost of a bottle of DPF Cleaner. Diesel DPF Cleaner
Hey, we get it. You want to reduce the cost of DPF cleaner and save some time. The good news is that there’s a bit of wiggle room. If you act quickly, you can avoid that pesky window between when the DPF is partially blocked with soot and when it’s so blocked that it needs a garage manual regeneration. So, be sure to use your diesel DPF cleaner now. DPF CLEANER DIESEL FUEL
Hydra DPF-24 DPF Cleaner is here to help! It’s specially formulated to help your DPF out by getting rid of any soot that might be blocking it. It’s there for you when your passive DPF system just can’t seem to get going with the regeneration process because the exhaust temperature is a bit low. Hey, just a heads-up: rising exhaust back pressure can be a bit of a bummer for your engine. It’ll give you a heads-up with a few warning lights to let you know it’s happening. The regeneration process happens at speeds higher than you’d usually go in the city, but that’s just how it works. If you mostly drive slow in the city, you might need to go faster every now and then to clean out the DPF. If you happen to ignore the warning light and wait a bit too long to operate the vehicle above 40 miles per hour (64 km/h), there’s a chance the DPF might not regenerate properly. If you continue operating the vehicle past that point, there’s a possibility that the DPF could get completely contaminated, so it would need to be replaced. You might not know that some newer diesel engines, especially the ones in combination vehicles, have this neat little trick up their sleeve. They can do something called “parked regeneration,” which is pretty cool. When the engine is idling, it’ll bump up the RPMs to around 1400, which helps raise the exhaust temperature. I’m happy to tell you that new particulate filters can capture from 30% to greater than 95% of the harmful soot. With an optimal diesel particulate filter (DPF), soot emissions can be reduced to 0.001 g/km or less, which is amazing! We’re so excited to tell you about the best DPF cleaner with low temperature catalyst! The Hydra DPF-24 DPF Cleaner is amazing because it actually lowers the ignition temperature of soot collected in the DPF by 150°C. This helps support periodic filter regeneration. This product is great because it helps to solve the issue that sometimes happens with passive DPF systems when the exhaust temperature isn’t high enough to get the regeneration process going. Hey, just a heads-up: rising exhaust back pressure can be a bit of a bummer for your engine. It’ll give you a heads-up with a few warning lights to let you know it’s happening.
